Children and Family Ministry
I began serving at Plymouth Church as the Pastor of Children and Families on January 30, 2023. I was saved at 9, the day before my birthday. From then till now, God has continued to show me how much He loves me and wants to use me to glorify His name.
I am from a small town called Middlesex, NC, in Nash County. During my school years, I worked at a camp named Camp Caraway. At Caraway, I grew in my faith and heard God calling me to ministry. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2014 with a Bachelor in Recreation and Parks Management. After ECU, I went to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and graduated in 2020 with a Masters of Divinity in Next Generation Ministry.
During my seminary years, I met my beautiful wife Emily (Emmy) at a church I was serving at and we married in 2019. We have a german shepherd named Nika. Emmy has an associate degree in advertising and graphic design from Nash Community College. She is a skilled photographer and loves working with children.

Youth Ministry Director
I have been in church at Plymouth for as long as I can remember. I accepted Christ as my Savior at Summer Camp with our youth group. I have always had a passion for working with and helping others. For years (almost 20) I have worked in different ministry areas at Plymouth Church, mostly with children’s ministry programs.
I have been blessed to be Plymouth’s Youth Minister for more than ten years. I desire to grow more in Christ as I help to mentor the students in the Plymouth Church Youth Ministry. I pray that the Lord continues to work through my ministry at Plymouth and that the Youth continue to want to learn, serve, and worship the Lord more.
Favorite Things To Do: Play softball, watch my boys play baseball/softball, being on or near the water (boating)
Favorite Bible Verse: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
Mae joined our staff in the summer of 2016. Previously, she worked at First Baptist Church in Cary. We are blessed to have Mae at Plymouth.
The Deacons at Plymouth assist the Pastor in ministering to the members of our congregation. In 2016 we increased the number of Deacons we called to reflect the growth in our congregation. In the last ten years, Plymouth has grown from a church of about 20-25 families to a church fast approaching 100 families!
Our Deacons help set our church’s spiritual tone and direction, lead in serving the Lord’s Supper (Communion), and assist with Pastoral Care. They are essentially extensions of the staff as we seek to assimilate new members and keep up with the needs of a growing congregation.
The Deacons each have families they are responsible for and are assigned based on the letter that begins their last name.
